EAPAG's Downland Farm Project

The Downland Farm Project was set up in 1994 to provide realistic training & work experience for adults with Learning Disabilities when they left full time education.

It is considered a unique project regionally, if not nationally, as it is a registered charity and an accredited training centre based at a fully functional hotel plant centre and pet centre.

We can now take up to 40 students on individually designed training programmes aimed at developing their confidence, independence and communication skills.

The more able students on these programmes are aiming to secure employment at the completion of their training period. To this end the charity works with local businesses and other employment agencies and welcomes any approach from other organisations who have an interest in providing such opportunities.

How can you help?

You can assist the Downland Project with its valuable work in the community in any of the following ways:

  • Fund-raising
  • Volunteer Work
  • Donations
  • Gift aid/Bequests
